when i think about my man

i think about how the sun really did shine that day

or about how cosmic my ancestors really are

how two souls can intertwine because our linerage says so

how it was cold when we met but it felt warm when we did

how important it is to care for the earth

how fertile grounds can grow love and humans with proper dedication and patience

or like

that comforting pot of greens that you would eat when it was cold out

how you would drink the pot liquor and all

and align you right back to where it all started
